2023 Pirate Paddle Registration
Registration is now open!
- The event will take place Saturday, June 17th, 2023, and the cost is $30 per person.
- Please fill out all of the required fields in this form, then proceed to the Buy Now button.
- Be sure to read over the activity waiver. And initial the Waiver field below. This signifies you agree with the terms in the waiver.
- Be sure to initial the acknowledge the terms field below to agree with the terms and conditions of the waiver below.
- Registrations received AFTER May 31st are NOT guaranteed a t-shirt!!!!
Registering for more than one person, no problem. See the bullet points below:
- Be sure to update the last Quantity field to the correct number of people. The default is for 1 person.
- In the T-Shirt Size field, you can put multiple sizes for each person you register.
- In the comments section field, it would be nice to put the names of the individuals who receives what t-shirt sizes.
- We prefer that all T-shirts be picked up at the same time. This will reduce confusion on both sides when picking up t-shirts for the group. We want to ensure the people in your group receive the correct sizes.
- Also, please note that by initiating the Waver field (Do you acknowledge the terms in the waiver?), you are acknowledging for all persons in your party.
Pirate Paddle Activity Waiver
I/we acknowledge that this athletic event is an extreme test of a person's physical and mental limits and carries with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to: actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials, event monitors, and/or producers of the event; lack of hydration, weather, and/or other natural conditions. I/we hereby assume all of the risks of participating in this event.
I/we certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently trained for participation in this event, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical person.
I/we acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability (AWRL) form will be used by the Kawkawlin River Watershed Association, all coin stops, and the sponsors of the event in which I may participate, and it will govern my actions and responsibilities at aid event.
In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this event, I/we hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) Waive, release, and discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kind which may hereafter accrue to me or my traveling to and from this event, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Kawkawlin River Watershed Association, and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives and agents, all coin stops, the event sponsors and event volunteers, (B) indemnify and hold harmless all entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made by other individuals or entities as a result of my actions during this event.
I/we hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this event.
I/we understand that at this event or related activities, I/we may be photographed. I/we agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and/or assigns.
I/we agree to be respectful of all property owners, fellow paddlers, volunteers, boaters, and others while participating in this event.
This AWRL shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under the applicable law.
I/we hereby certify that I have read this document and I understand its content.
